Color Cheat Codes (Requires Admin Password or Single Player)
In Ark there are cheat codes you can use to manually change the color of dinosaurs. These codes will work on wild dinosaurs, your tamed dinosaurs and the tamed dinosaurs of other people.

In Single Player these cheat codes will work immediately. In Multiplayer server admins can do this if they first enable cheats using the server password. To do this hit TAB to open your console and run:
enablecheats YOURSERVERPASSWORD

Color Cheat Code

When you run this command you must be looking directly at the dinosaur you wish to change the color of. This command applies to the dinosaur you are looking at only and will do nothing if you aren't looking at a dinosaur. The command to change the color of a region on a dinosaur is:
cheat SetTargetDinoColor REGIONNUMBER COLORNUMBER

Each dinosaur has multiple color regions that you can change the color of. The color regions are labelled 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Some dinosaurs use all six color regions while other dinosaurs only use a couple of them. In the cheat code above change REGIONNUMBER to a number from 0 to 5. If nothing seems to change then try a different region number.

There is a color pallette that can be defined for each color region. If you wish for your whole dinosaur to be a single color then set all regions to the same color code. Most people will want some regions to be a different color though. In the cheat code above change COLORNUMBER to a number from 1 to 36. Below you can find what color each number corresponds to:

1 = Red
2 = Blue
3 = Green
4 = Yellow
5 = Cyan
6 = Magenta
7 = Light Green
8 = Light Grey
9 = Light Brown
10 = Light Orange
11 = Light Yellow
12 = Light Red
13 = Dark Grey
14 = Black
15 = Brown
16 = Dark Green
17 = Dark Red
18 = White
19 = Dino Light Red
20 = Dino Dark Red
21 = Dino Light Orange
22 = Dino Dark Orange
23 = Dino Light Yellow
24 = Dino Dark Yellow
25 = Dino Light Green
26 = Dino Medium Green
27 = Dino Dark Green
28 = Dino Light Blue
29 = Dink Dark Blue
30 = Dino Light Purple
31 = Dino Dark Purple
32 = Dino Light Brown
33 = Dino Medium Brown
34 = Dino Dark Brown
35 = Dino Darker Grey
36 = Dino Albino

YouTube Video: Changing Dino Colors

For those who prefer a video, this YouTube video by ShoSho does a good job of demonstrating how these commands can be used:

Note: ShoSho is not involved with Dino Colors Plus. And lacks our cool choice of colors, so don't judge how some of their dinos turned out looking too harshly.

Please leave a comment if you have questions or need a bit more clarification. Hopefully this short guide is helpful in using cheat codes to forcibly change the colors of the dinosaurs on your server.

The small monkies just have a really small hitbox and are hard to reliably have in the center of your screen when you use the command. Are you crouched and as close to the monkey as possible? If you hold a weapon with a crosshair/scope like a pistol and aim it while using the command it can be easier to make sure the animal is in the center of your screen so the command will work :)
