Australia Suggestion
I've begun work on a suggestion for Australia in a future BT update (13.0 or further on). I'm in the process of making a rough map, derived from the vanilla map, but with features such as a North-South crossing across the center along the route of the Stuart Highway, provinces around the entire coast and more colonizable areas inland. There will be 3-4 Colonial Nations, a few river estuaries and a 2-3 natural harbors/coastal centers of trade per colonial region.

Australia Terrain Types
I did se research on my old pc, probably a year ago or more now. I'll have to have a look for it after christmas.

One of the things I can remember is that I split it to around 120 provinces. I also had more colonial nations based on what Australia was divided at in the mid 1800's, but named them after the major river. I can also remember that I had a province all around the coastline so there was no part of the coast uncolonisable. Also, 8 province tasmania iirc. I also did some culture splits as well.
