It's the type of kibble you're making, NOT the creature you're taming. For quick reference, you might want to bookmark the Wiki page in your Steam settings, as I do, so you can visit the Wiki within the Steam overlay while in game (useful to use the overlay so you can still hear the game audio in case you get attacked while on the Wiki). If you're unfamiliar with the Wiki (http://ark.gamepedia.com/ARK_Survival_Evolved_Wiki), just type in the first few letters of the creature you're taming in the search box in the upper right hand corner and it will auto-fill the rest for you, hit enter, and you'll be taken to the creature's Wiki page, with all the taming info you'll need, including the creature's favorite food/kibble.
