Arma 3
US Military Mod
[bug] backpacks auto-refill in arsenal
in short: equipping backpacks with this mod and selecting them in the arsenal automatically adds either smoke grenades, bandages or ammo for a completely different gun and there's no way to completely remove them without the Arsenal adding more and replacing anything you've put in

when you select the backpacks tab in the Arsenal, depending on the type of backpack, they'll automatically refill themselves with things like smoke grenades and belt boxes for MGs

the problem I've found with the bandoliers is that they automatically refill ammo for the M240, and if you wanted to use the M249 instead, you can't remove the rounds in the ammo section for backpacks because the M249 doesn't accept M240 belts (different calibers I think)

if you go into the game and remove them from the inventory, and replace the backpacks items with the proper ammo, going back into the arsenal completely removes the items you put in and instead replaces them with the M240 belt boxes again, and even if you don't have the gun itself equipped it'll still add the ammo, which adds a bunch of useless weight

I don't know if this is intended or not, but it's quite counter-productive, it's not limited to bandoliers either, equipping the medical bag will add smoke grenades and bandages and equipping one of the radio boxes will just add smoke grenades, and even if you save your loadout with different items and load it again it still replaces whatever you've put in it seems

I'm using CUP weapons for the M240 and M249s

Click the right one the first time. The 5.56 bandolier fills with M249 rounds, the 7.62 fills with M240 rounds, etc. The medical bag fills with medical supplies.

This is due to the coding of the backpacks, it's not a bug. A medical bag is supposed to have medical supplies in it, so obviously it's got TransportMagazines or TransportItems that include field dressings, etc.. Same goes for M60 barrel bag, 5.56/7.62 bandoliers, linked ammo belts, etc. Only thing is, none of the items actually do anything.
