a lot of RHSUSAF items are past the timeline of where the mod is set; even the M16A2 isn't present in RHS.

i agree with Harpoon, i would keep it period accurate because after all thats what us realism players are here for. CUP weapons or black ops weapons, until something better with the period accurate weapons comes out. i feel lik everyone just wants RHS because it looks cool... but it does nothing for the realism community but dilute accuracy and imersion. RHS is a good mod but it doesnt fit the timeline that this mod requires. RHS is more for ultramodern anything that came out towards the end of the 2nd iraq war and into our current military. arma needs more than RHS and the vanilla cookie cutter equipment the base game gives, i want to see more BDU's Early ACU's multicam, and marpat without the "operator cut" i feel like arma 2 had more variety of era's and factions that still worked well together where as arma 3 is very limited in its mods. i want to see some falklands without the operator cut uniforms you know, we need variety, RHS should nto be the one size fits all for mods on arma 3.

People like RHS not because its "shiny-tacticooly". People like it because its quality and there is nothing yet same well made, but in 1990's. There is a mod for single M16A2 for RHS.
People are against CUP because its large, its buggy and ugly. The only reason RHS is wrong - its timeline. For M60 and early M249 mods people can use NiArms. Still, there is no well made M47 launcher.

RHS mod is anachronistic as it is too new and modern; the weapons have QR code stickers that would not have been on in the 1980s and 1990s.

Just be honest: RHS does not have propper 90's stuff at all. Some single assets, but not the mod concept itself.

RHS + Gstavo M16A2 = done

im afraid not Eddie RHS does not have the propper Colt m4 and CAR15 rifles with the A2 ironsight/receiver. nor do they have the early versions of the M249, aswell as the vannilla M60

BOW mod has lots of good 1980s-era stuff. Gstavo's M16A2 is good too.

You guys could always let RHS know you want them to include 90s weapons. If they did have 90 weapons I would gladly switch over the RHS.

There's certain mods out there for that time era which are a LOT better than CUP, although that's quite easy since a lot of CUP content is so bad.

Okay, yes RHS has newer stuff, but the weapons missing from it are in 2 other mods, which fixs the issue. The mods are, KA M16a2, which has the right M16s and M4s " https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1524456575 ". And NIArms all one, which adds a few m60s and M249s " https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1208517358 ". With these, RHS could be use, but it should be made in to another mod so people that like the CUP mod are happy, and the people that like RHS are happy too. WIN, WIN. And I know the M47 is not present, There has to be give and take.

KA's M16 pack has some issues, one that bothered me is that the barrel's a little offset with hipfire in first/third person view. GSTAVO's M16 pack is better imo, hence why I used that for the US Military 80s faction I put together.

I think all of the folks in here need to take another look at the quality of CUP as of today.
