Clearly authors and moderators are more concerned with other issues.
SEVERAL people complayning.
And they keep closing topics instead of fix and help.
We’re glad you’re enjoying the mod. That said, keep a few things in mind before making such demands in your post.
The problem you’re describing ain't something we are experiencing, therefore we don’t have to acknowledge anything. If you wish to see something changed or if you want our help, then I suggest trying another way then demanding. Kindness goes a long way.
We can’t help you with the lack of information in your post, regarding the actual issue you are having. I’m talking about which map you’re using, if you changed your .ini, what load order you’re using, etc.
Regards,
Alice
Thank you for the response. I'm not trying to be demanding, but many other posts stating similar issues keep getting closed with the same generic response so I hope you can understand us server admins frustrations.
I of course can not comment on the configuration of other servers, but I have tested using the following methods and they all result in the same outcome of certain wardens not spawning. The ones that do spawn, they only seem to spawn after a dino wipe.
I have used ark launcher, ark server manager, and manual (.bat) methods of starting and managing the server. I have tested on a fresh wipe with only this mod running. I have also increased spawn weigh and spawn percent to absurd values. All methods result in only seeing most wardens after a wild dino wipe. Borkito, smough, and mormaw seem to be almost non-existant. The only wardens that seem to respawn (and far from often even with absurd spawn values) is nilloc, gnashor, and krakinos. I have had mixed results with rawaiim and perdition.
Thank you for the response as well, regarding the information. It's appreciated. I think frustrations are from both sides in order, since the things that happen, are not by our doing, but merely by bugs and accident, which can prove annoying for both parties.
As noted in the patch notes, we're re-doing all the spawn tables from scratch, with the latest up-to-date modifications. This way we're trying to exclude any possibilties from creatures not spawning. If all goes according to plan, we should be able to implement this in the upcoming patch, seeing as this is quite some work.
My advice is to wait for now until we've finished that and see if that fixed the problem regarding spawns of the Wardens.
On a sidenote, we don't know why it doesn't work for some people when modifying the spawn rates manually. The only logical explanation is that the mod is not running as core, seeing that the spawn entries and tags are loaded from the Primal Game Data, which is needed to overwrite data in GameUserSettings.ini and Game.ini.
Regards,
Alice
I'm not sure why modifying the spawns are not working either. Wardens seem to be the only spawn that is unaffected when changing the multiplyers. I will look forward to future updates and thank you for taking the time to address the problem.
The mods (in order) that I use are: 538986229, 510854250, 56688584, 566887000, 609380111, 519546805, 539464369
The Game.ini modifications, that I have done, are: Mating/Egg laying related, Crop related, Dino turret damage, Global Item decomposition, PerLevelStatsMultipliers (for players, tamed dinos, and wild dinos), Dino Spawn Weight modifiers, and player level engram points overrides.
I simply want to make it so that at least one of the wardens is always up (or even multiples), so that players can always find them. Searching for (real life) days for something and then watching someone else take it isn't very fun... so I want to change it.
Annunaki runs as core mod in my servers.
After Annunaki, the list is: Stargate Atlantis, Metal with Glass, Stack Plus 1.0, CV's Photon Sentry, CV's Bulk Crafter, CV's Death Helper.
I have made some chances to accelerate the 3 major rates (XP, harvesting and tamming) to 15x.
Originally I did not made any changes to spawn rates. After a couple of days without Wardens (exept for Karkinos e Gnashor) and without Primordius, Eleagon and Raphus, I restarted with the following changes to Game.ini:
DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=BossArgent,SpawnWeightMultiplier=10,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=true,SpawnLimitPercentage=2)
DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=BossGigant,SpawnWeightMultiplier=10,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=true,SpawnLimitPercentage=2)
DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=BossGorilla,SpawnWeightMultiplier=10,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=true,SpawnLimitPercentage=2)
DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=BossMosa,SpawnWeightMultiplier=10,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=true,SpawnLimitPercentage=2)
DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=BossSarco,SpawnWeightMultiplier=1,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=true,SpawnLimitPercentage=0.25)
DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=BossTurtle,SpawnWeightMultiplier=10,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=true,SpawnLimitPercentage=2)
DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=BossDoed,SpawnWeightMultiplier=10,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=true,SpawnLimitPercentage=2)
DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=BossRhino,SpawnWeightMultiplier=10,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=true,SpawnLimitPercentage=2)
DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=AnnunakiDodoRex,SpawnWeightMultiplier=10,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=true,SpawnLimitPercentage=1)
DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=AnnunakiDragon,SpawnWeightMultiplier=10,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=true,SpawnLimitPercentage=1)
DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=AnnunakiWyvern,SpawnWeightMultiplier=10,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=true,SpawnLimitPercentage=1)
Nothing really worked. But it tripled the number of karkinos in the server...
Than yesterday I called a wipe and wiped the map. The Spawns were ok. Maybe some bug in the population of something like that, but it DID happen and not only in my server, as you could see here.
This should take the authors attention, since they are re-building the tables, as you said, they probably won't like to see this kind of bug after they worked really hard to re-make the things right.
Thank you for the work, and thank you to take a time to give us a decent answer.
