[Tutorial] Annunaki Start Up Steps - Tipps and Tricks for a good start! [The Center]
Hey there,
my Name is Haze aka. Phil im an Annunaki Player with over 500 Hours.
This is the second Tutorial of my Tutorial Category.
In this one im going to give you Tipp's and Trick's how you get a Good start and how you get ahead of every other Tribe if youre doing good.

If you want a the Island Tutorial too, tell me.

Im calculating for 2+ Persons, if you are only 1 Person do it step by step, if you are more than 2 Persons i suggest you 1 Person for Step 1 and all the others for step 2 + 3 + 4 and so on.

Alright lets get right into the Action.

Step 1

If you spawn you and youre teammate/s wann spawn in redwood.
Level up a bit, and build a stone house 4x4 with some Bed's, as soon as this is done.
Your teammates are gonna kill themself, (let the other teammate wich will stay in the Redwood kill you!) Your dead teammates, should go to Step 2 now.
You are gonna stay in the Redwood, and make youreself some Javelins (5-10).
Dont skill youre Melee dmg too high but a little bit atleast.
Now go ahead and get some Prime Meat, and around 250 or more depending on Tamerate Narcoberrys, javelin a poison ptera they are all around there, as soon as its down put the primemeat in, and feed it 1 Narco Berrys every 5 Seconds, so the torpor dont start dropping.
You wanna kill all aggresive things, around there, aka Terrorbirds and so on.
It will take you around 2-3 Minutes with Insta Tame, more on lower Taming/Farming Rates.
Do a ptera Saddle, and farm some animals you will find a Experience potion within 5 minutes, give it to youre ptera it will be Instant Max Level.
Than go on and get a second normal Ptera, do the same, just dont care about the Torpor that much, it doesnt drop as fast as on a Badass Creature.
Skill this Ptera, MUCH Melee/Health and a little bit of speed.
Tell youre Mate, to fast travel to the Redwood Bed, and get the Poison ptera to the Base.
You are gonna, go on the normal ptera, and start killing dodorexys they shouldnt hit you if youre doing good. Farm all 3 Tributes (+ 1 other Drake Tribute - go kill a Drake on the floating island on youre way back home), and go for the Beach next to Skull Island and fly around there kill everything and search a Golden Dodo, get the Treats, and fly to youre base aswell.

Step 2

While youre Mate is getting the Main stuff you need, youre gonna spawn in the Snow Biom next to the Vulcano, !!! You need to have leveled a bit first in Redwood !!!

You wanna go onto the Top now, and build a little stone base, 6x4, place a Titan Forge in there, or 4 normal Forges. Get some Metal, smelt it, make youreself Pickaxe, Axe and a Spyglas, you want to build youre start up base up there because you got Oil, Crystal and Metal. Youre other Mate ( If you are 3+, if not do this as last step when you got the Fabricator Annunaki Forge), should skill some Oxygen and go diving for pearls ( and anglergel if you got photon Turrets on the Server). Your wanna do a Fabricator and get Electronics 24/7 to work and aswell get an Annunaki Forge so you got those both things done, until youre Mate is back. than just build an Annunaki Bench, an Annunaki Save and a Fridge. The Fridge for the Golden treats, the Save for the Drake and the Boss Tribute youre Mate should have already gathered.

Step 3

Your Mate is going to Tame a High Level Poison Drake / Wyfern whatever high level he finds first, and than tame the other one. After this get a Saddle for both.
Your mate wanna do this within this Time, upgrade the Stone Base to Metal,
gather much Wood, and put it in the Annunaki Forge you need around 100k+.
Than he is gonna build 2 Chemistry Benches, and produce 50k - 100k+ Spark Powder, and continue farming Pearls for Electronics. Now you wanna start up and go ahead and build Turrets ( If theyre Photons on the Server build with the Ratio 4 Photons 1 Auto Turret.).
Youre nearly finished, with youre Start Up Base, gather some space and Build 2 more Fabricators, extend a bit if needed, let them produce advanced rifle bullets only for the Turrets! Youre Mate should have finished the Saddles meanwhile and should go tame a frog and farm CP, farm much you will need it trust me.

Step 4

Last Step is pretty easy, farm as much turrets and cp so you can produce enough Metal/Glas Metal pieces to build youre Base, go farm Tributes in Redwood with youre Wyfern ( Drake tributes on Floating Island) And start to get more Wyferns start breeding and so on.

Than just go on and Hunt Wardens my Warden Loc. Tutorial is here - Hazes Warden Loc. Tutorial

GL HF as Alpha Tribe if you are good in Fighting / Raiding too :)

.... you make this sound complex. Also starting in the redwood is not as easy as you make it out to be. Each time I tried I was either killed by a swarm of Terrorbirds with in minutes,, a hungry carno or by a dodorex in the area. Also dodorexys always one/two shot my Pteras. I really think that taking them down with one depends on how buff a server makes tamed pets as they lv.

Personally I rather start on tropical island north, get a base going and gear. Passive tame a Parasaur for an easy mount and gatherer for basic stuff. They can ward off almost everything that spawns there if points go into health and damage. There easy to tame as well so you can make a small army if needed.

Look for and Tame Elite Dilophosaur's as both body guards and for use in knocking out other dinos. Use it to knock out a fire or ice badass Ptera's (I get them often on that island), then with a bow and tranq arrows go out to tame a poison Ptera in the redwood and use it to slowly work up the badass chain aiming mainly for poisons and fires...

This Guide needs some practise ofc, but i tested it the last 3 Days on, x99 Annunaki Servers, on x50 on x10 and on x5, worked out pretty well, just try to spawn 2-3 Times at redwood, you usually get the River Spawn, where no terrorbirds are for the first some Minutes atleast, always stay at the shore until you leveled a bit, than it works out quite well for me, we builded as 4 Guys, a giantic Base with this Guide on x10 in ~30 Hours, x5 - ~45 Hours, and on x99 and x50 it took us about 6 Hour's.

You need to remember, as Annunaki Start Up Player, or if you are a solo player and not that experienced, i would suggest you a High Rate Server to test the best Start Up Strategys, learn all the redwood spawns and so on, i suggest you Ziggys Server or 1 of Xeno's Servers.

I do single player, and even on the shoreline I get attacked by terror birds and dodo rex's, then theres an alpha carno roaming the west side of the beach as well for me. I really rather start on the northern tropical island where most of the creatures you run into are passive.

The only thing you have to worry about are Dilophosaur's, and the very rare carno. I tamed all the elite Dilophosaur's for body guards and use for easy knock outs. Even helped me take down a prime alpha and tame the alpha Dilophosaur for the leader of my little 'pack'.

Super easy to lv on it. I hit lv 57 before I made my first trip off it? Just by running laps around the place and killing everything in sight. It also has almost every resource you need outside oil and rare flowers.

With my pack I knocked out and tamed my fire and ice para's, two poison packys, a poison and fire raptor, a fire anky, and nearly had a poison carno before a giga came out of nowhere and nommed it. Never happyer that I over sped my alpha Dilo. Lost two elites from my pack though.

By all this I was 57 and took off on my fire para to the redwood to tame poison ones... and it's NOT easy with all the birds, dodorex's and carnos. Every poison para I was able to drop with the darts would get nommed on before the taming finished by something running into the area that was clear. I ended up settleing for a lv 19 poison para as it dropped with one dart and almost insta tamed to get off the ground asap as yep, on the beach, more damn tera birds that almost killed it but was able to quickly tell it passive and fly out to sea.

Your strat really sounds way to luck based. Plus saying stay on the beach? That's even less safe than deeper in!

First of all in Singleplayer you got mostlikely more Dino's, aswell as you dont need to be fast.
but in a Server you want to get the best Stuff as fast as Possible, and i can guarantee you wont have that much Dino's if you spawn at the Big River at Redwood, because the Terrorbirds, arent there. So we made this around 30-40~ Times and it worked out everytime O.o

Guess this guide only works on high rate servers (more than 10x ).

Step 1 - min level 35
You said "level up a bit" to build a stone base, but for that you need to be lvl 25. Are you sure that leveling 25% of the total levels is "a bit" ?

Also, you request a ptera saddle after the stone base, that's lvl 35, then use the pteras to kill dodorexyes and golden dodos? o.O

Step 2 - min level 85
At snow bio , again you ask to "level up a bit" to lvl 25, get metals, fabricator ( lvl 40 ) and Annunaki forge ( lvl 85 )

Step 3 - min level 65
Asking for turrets, need bullets, need metal, but you didn't tame any support dino. All by hand? Really?

I mean, I get bored picking berries by hand just to tame a Triker on x10Tame server!

Maybe what is missing is the time needed ? 1-2months ?

This is why I feel thid guide isn't really valid. He makes it sound super easy but yet the lv's needed to craft some of this stuff. Unless the exp has been boosted by a good amount this isn't just a few hours of gameplay. Heck my single player has 10x exp gain with days lasting a total of 60 minutes (10 being night) and I'm only 78 going into day 42.

I also sent my fire ptera after a lower lv golden dodo with back up from my poison ptera. It killed my poison ptera (thankfully I have another) and almost killed me.

I tried poking a dodorexy, and it killed my ptera in one shot.

So I'm assuming stats are also mega boosted?

I said, this Guide works the best on High Rate Servers.
And for this Guide, you need to find youreself little Changes, normally High Rate Server got more Levels too, aswell as you overscale the normal ptera.

I have 10x exp, and player and dino exp set to
OverrideMaxExperiencePointsPlayer=1602000000
OverrideMaxExperiencePointsDino=1602000000

with player lv capping at 900.

If you are playing, with a 900 Level Cap, you should minimum play on x25 / x50 EXP.
Thats what i suggest in Annunaki

Guess that's the point, you guide is for a x25/x50 EXP settings with 2-4 players. I think an Ark with those settings are very easy.

You need to put that info in your guide.

Server should be x25-x50 EXP
Pteras should be boosted enough to kill dodorexy and golden dodos o.O

BTW: I'm playing in a 5x server with 10xTaming, I'm alone and I already tamed Drakes and killed Dodorexys, that's why your guide seems wrong for the most players.

I'm playing single player using the ini settings to Riot and Meatylock's server settings, with a few tweaks. (ie boosting all tamed dino stats by 1 sense I am alone)

To me it is very balanced. You don't level up instantly and dinos don't become super OP. a.k.a You can't just tame a poison petra and use it for everything. Agginst a drake they'll die in a few breaths, against a dodorex they get one shot. There not super OP dinos but are good for getting the next dino. I'm hunting for a low lv argy that I can get down to then use to help tame a higher lv one, so I can then try and take down a drake.

I don't like games where thing's are just handed to you, where thing's are made 'easyer' why I don't play on most servers that have everything boosted. Resources, lving, dino power. The only mega boosts I don't mind are taming boosts and egg hatch boosts, sense by default those take hours.

Your guide and the servers you play on look to be aimed at you smack a dodo and you're insta lv 100. You lv so fast you don't have to think or strat on how you'll be making it on the lower end of things. You have no risks or challenge.

That's a rather boring game.
