Stop fckn using Ark Server Manager, its not the Fault of the Annunaki Dev's. Pretty Easy so they wont fix it.

Ark server manager can't handle large mods.

I use ASM and have no issues using Annunaki Genesis, ASM updates the Mod just fine.

@Garp02 I'm glad you have managed to not run into issue with ASM, but many many people have and it's always the large mods that are being affected. Either the mod doesn't get updated correctly or the .mod file gets deleted.

That is why when people come to the mod pages and say their mod is having problem it's the first thing we trouble shoot. I've yet to have one person that was runing ASM and having problem not have the problem resolved by turning ASM off.

I do know the devs are aware of it and looking into the mater.

Perhaps its a ASM config issue, point them to ASM website, setup pages should help those in need. For example not setting a DL cache can cause update issues.

Take a look at ASM website for correct setup, perhaps that will solve your issue.
Manalo Aug 13, 2016 @ 1:07pm
well I'd be wrong if I said it wasn't worth reviewing. @jonnynomad do you have a DL cache configured with your ASM setup?

Im not "unhelpful" at all, but this was the answer in short, wich i already gave around 60 times, to people with the same problem and im really annoyed of it.

Btw. im the one with the "All Warden Loc" Thread, so i think im pretty helpful aswell as i will release 2 new threads, 1 Tipps and Tricks for annunaki, and the second one with mostly every dino, where to find them specially and so on. ressources included so im just trying to help ;)

Let me clarify what is happening. I have manually copied the folder and .mod file to all 3 locations server mods can go. I am not using ASM to try to update. It still gives a warning that the mod is an older version

@jonnynomad ty for the follow up. I beleive ASM has a cache directory that you probably setup? If your not using to manage the mods then purging the cache may resolve the issue. If that doesn't stop the warning then you probably want to visit the ASM website for more indepth support on the ASM product. As long as the server comes up and the clients can connect you know that the mods is up-to-date in both locations. If it wasn't you would get a mod-mismatch from the client.

Nah, ASM got coded a bit wrong thats why Annunaki isnt identified completely!

earlier this year I updated all my mods using the DL to client machine, and then running ARK so that the mods are installed, then navigate to the "Mods" folder then Copy and Paste to the Server "Mods" folder. This was how it was done back then. However things have changed, ASM now updates mods with a click of a button. At first I was reluctant to alter my method (if it works don't change it) but I too noticed that ASM would give a warning message, however the server would run fine therefore myself and friends could connect and play without any issues. But after some time I decided to let ASM update my mods, and with a correct config this method works a treat.
I want to clarify "Auto Update" does not update the mod or mods automatically, however it DL's the mods that require update to the "Update Cache" and you choose when to install the updates at your convenience. ASM verifies mods using this cache upon server start, if you copy and pasted the mods as mentioned above ASM will see a discrepancy and report as such, ignoring this warning had no negative affects whilst I was using that method, also ASM will warn about any and all mods not just Annunaki Genesis. I think if you prefer to update mods using the copy 'n' paste method ignore the warning, but for convenience and time saving use ASM to update the mods. clicking on the (?) question mark button will visually show which mods require update and clicking on the (Up Arrow) button updates the mods. Give it a try as you might just like it, and if not then reverting back to your old method will still work.

@Haze | Phil First.. I did not for one second say anything about your other posts, I did however say your reply here was unhelpful and I still maintain that it was unhelpful. Please read my comments before blindly replying. In addition not only did you supply an unhelpful answer you also used profanity in your answer (regardless of how its spelt), why should anyone who wishes to help have to read bad language when its not needed? Now I see you are very quick to blame ASM, personally I think you don't know what your talking about with regards to ASM. Please refrain from using profanities in your replies.

@Garp02 that was a very informative reply regarding ASM. I myself have not used it so my interaction in helping folks with it also becomes limited so this information is very much apreciated.
