What are your favorite parts of the Annunaki Genesis mod?
My favorite parts of Annunaki mod:

~~~~ITEMS~~~~
  • Javelin / Lance - Really solid weapons useful throughout entire game!

  • Metal Tranq Arrow - the Compound Poison Arrows are great for the tougher targets, if you dont have any Poison Flyers yet.

  • Sedative - Finding and KO-ing should be the hardest part of hunt, Sedative makes it so your tame gets done quickly.... minimizing the time ARK has to cheat, by bringing a Gallimimus from across the map with a raptor and 3 terror birds trailing it ... to nip at your taming target in last 4% of procedure. HOORAY for Sedative!

  • Ankylo_Character_BP-Badass-Mountain_GNS_C - this is my all time favourite animal to harvest with, since its attacks can get the entire range of resources. Meat/ Hide/ Chitin/ Oil/ Pearls/ Organic Poly/ Wood/ Thatch/ Metal/ Rock/ Crystal/ Obsidian/ Berry/ Flower/ Shroom. I used to love skipping around the swamp/ocean on these as well. Like a sweet little airboat or something, and if you clipped a rock or dino just right would get big air. Very fun. Performed well mining underwater rock/oil, but does not stay submerged on dismount. An excellent creation by the modding team!
    ... :( this BA ankylo is non-functional atm :( ---- The Therizi does outperform in some areas, and coupled with a normal ankylo is getting me by.

  • Dilo_Character_BP-Elite_GNS_C - Another well made dino! Great to help with taming until you get a torpor flyer. One of these Elites spitting thru window of trap box or raft is a great way to KO your initial tames. The fact that it is fully functional underwater elevates it even more. Use it to tame your sharks etc, and since Alpha dino can hardly swim, is useful to KO them as well. An Alpha Raptor, after my intiatial scare by it, was a stress-free tame once I got it into river trailing my mount. Stays submerged when dismounted too!

  • GoldDodo_Character_BP_GNS_C - sure, gold treats are certainly appreciated, but this dino makes an outstanding early tame. Thier base speed is good, and they can harvest a ton of wood. While they have no attacks while swimming, you can still use them at swamp edges to get shrooms from the trees it downs. Ill use the first shrooms I scrub up to tame the highest Gold Dodo I can find nearby. I pump everything to damage, and use them as my initial killers. This can then be used to kill lesser Gold Dodo.

  • Monkey_Character_BP-Badass-Snow_GNS_C - Packs a nice little punch while riding your shoulder. I liked to use this while riding the Elite Dilo early on. Between the monkey cold/slowing attack, and using scenery/water to control battle we were able to knock out high level rex without much trouble/danger.

  • Dimorph_Character_BP-Elite_GNS_C - A very competent early tame. No saddle needed for this flyer, and has good life/stamina/damage. A flock of 5-9 of these eventually become my Drake killers.

  • Wyvern_Character_BP-Uber_GNS_C - Agile, deadly, and absolutely amazing, Annunaki Dragons are the bomb! Other mods and DLC wyverns, manticores etc are so sluggish and busted compared to these.


- Torpor attack flyers! -
  • Drake_Character_BP-Badass-Poison_GNS_C - KO-er of choice on Land, Air and sometimes sea. Love 'em.

  • Argent_Character_BP-Badass-Poison_GNS_C - Good life/stam/weight, plus the KO attack. Winning combination. Attacking while hovering over a circling Poison Drake, makes for an easy KO.

  • Ptero_Character_BP-Badass-Poison_GNS_C - KO-ing a poison drake with these is not a difficult endeavor. Obviously works on anything weaker than Drakes as well :)

  • Bat_Character_BP-Badass-Poison_GNS_C - I never locate one of these early enough in my runs to make full use of them.. As long as the server stats let me make it fast enough, and able to carry enough, they are fun tames to flit around on. I love to deliver normal Doeds to new folks while riding Poison Bat, just for the rediculousness of it That they can carry more dino types than the BA Argents makes them a good addition to have at base.

    Lifted normal ankylo, carno, chalico, direbear, doed, sarco, trike, therizi, turtle, titanboa, BA saber, BA G.pithecus, Elite Araneo. Did NOT grab Allo's, Rex, Diplo, Bronto, Paracer, BA Doed, BA carno.

- Torpor attackers in Water! -
  • elite dilo - see earlier in this post, great in water. ^ ^ ^

  • BoaFrill_Character_BP-Elite_GNS_C - I like this Dino, but it is a shame that by the time you are strong enough to tame one, there are better/more versatile torpor choices for you. Worked very well to KO on land, being a tanky and quick traveller. While slower in the water, I was able to KO a Mosa with one :)

  • Megalodon_Character_BP-Badass-Poison_GNS_C - A shark that KO's... awesome!

- Just for thier loot drops -
  • SilverDodo_Character_BP_GNS_C - after restarting mod a few times, the silver treats are a most welcome short-cut to wearing down Ubers with fire drakes, to get your first Uber Tribute.

  • ZomDodo_Character_BP_GNS_C - making dyes takes too much time, thanks for this great way to aquire them!

  • KibblePygmy_Character_BP_GNS_C - making kibble sucks, this thing is a lifesaver for baby Imprinting... just needs rest of new dino kibbles added to its loot table!
