Changing the default spawn items

Is there some way to change what items you spawn with? I know Annunaki defaults to giving you an upgraded stone hatchet and pick. Is there any way to change what it gives? For instance, I could possibly change it to give metal tools, or just some basic armor. Thanks in advanced!
