Maybe, Im just an idiot. Need Help.
Hey Gamers,

Reaching out here because I'm attempting to load AG on my server, but either the new dinos are so rare that I have yet to bump into them after playing for a few hours or something isnt working right. I have only a few other mods on my server, heres what to know:

I have loaded AG in the first slot, Its in the enabled Mod list, All the engrams are showing up but no dinos are, all the other mods engrams are working, I haven't tweaked much of anything in any .INI's. I am using ASM as well.

I loaded this an age ago with some buds and it worked perfectly last time, Maybe im just an idiot and its a simple -flick- of a code.

Spoiler
Just a heads up.... I AM an idiot.....So play nice.

Have you used the command destorywilddinos at all to see if it will open up spawn spots?

Tried it, nothing new to report. No Annunakis.

If you dont have items nor dinos from the AG mod then its usually:
A mod mismatch.
For example if a mod is partially installed, the mod version number can be updated while some of the files were not updated, installed or removed correctly.
I would advise you to acquire a clean copy of the mod (make sure it is truly clean), removal of the old mod (and .mod file if on Windows) and installing that clean copy.
Notice: Always make backups.

Notice 2::microraptor:
A number of reasons can cause a mod to be improperly installed:

Mod update tools are not removing the old version of the mod.
Mod update tools fail to install all the files in the mod.
Mod update tools fail to download the mod completely or the download is corrupted.
The mod was uploaded by the user but one or more of the files are missing or damaged while the file was being transferred.
For windows server if the mods .mod file is missing from arks Mods folder Ark will not load the mod.
The mod cannot be properly downloaded from Steam.
Your connection to your assigned Steam mirror is bad and data is being corrupted. This could result in no mod download or a download that has corrupted files in it.
The files on your assigned Steam mirror are bad resulting in the mod being unable to download or the files that are downloaded being damaged or missing.
The mod is not properly uploaded by the user:
Your connection to your server is poor and the files can't be transferred or the files you
do transfer are damaged.
You miss a file during the transfer (.mod files are commonly missed files as they exist
outside of the mod folder)
You did not properly remove the previous version that was installed on your server
uploading the new version of the mod.
You placed the files in the wrong location after they were uploaded.

In all cases the resolution is to acquire a clean copy of the mod, removal of the old mod (and .mod file if on Windows) and installing that clean copy.

As you can tell from above even having acquired a clean copy of the mod doesn't mean the mod is still clean after you have installed it.

p.s. Just a friendly piece of advice, Never say your an idiot! Not even from a perspective of manipulation. Anyone claiming to be wise, became a fool. Noone has all the worldly experience.

Toranaga

I will try this tonight when I get home. I am appreciative of your timely response.

I just remembered something from my own gameply. The enhanced dinos appear at specified minimum levels. Make sure your difficulty level isn't set too low. At 0.2 they start appearing rarely, and at 0.5 they start appering regularly.

Also check your map. If your map does not use generic "class" spawns, and instead uses dino specific spawns, the specials will not spawn. This is the case on some custom maps. All maps shipped with the game have the proper spawn type.

I am home now trying the previos method to see if it works, I am on "The Island". I might be overlooking it in ASM But I can't find Difficulty. I will check in on that after this.

To everyone, This is what I did and it partained to this advice! I went into my client side ARK Mod Folder and deleted everything. I then verified the integrity of my game files via the Properties -> Local Files menue of the steam launcher. This downloaded a fresh copy of Annunaki onto my client. THEN I fully uninstalled the MOD Directory in my Server and ran the ASM updater to download the latest copy onto my server. Then and ONLY THEN was I able to see the dinos. Thanks Toranaga!

Now I'm only having an issue with the levels being below 120, I think this has to pertain to the difficulty being stock and the max levels being capped at 120. I will try messing with the difficulty and seeing if this fixes that.

OP-OUT! :bbtraccoon:
