Cooking Recipies
Several folks have asked for this, so I thought I'd share some of the easier cooking recipies I've found. I'll put each recipe in its own post to save clutter.

Bread:

Baking bread is a multi-step process requiring the following items / engrams:
- 20 fresh wheat
- sack of flour engram trained
- preserving shed
- hand mill
- baking station
- baker's oven

1) place 20 fresh wheat in an operating preserving shed. This will eventually produce 20 dried wheat
2) place the 20 dried wheat in the hand mill. With the 'sack of flour' engram trained, this should enable 'sack of flour'. (Note: 10 dried wheat produce one sack of flour. But the engram requires 20 wheat and thus produces 2 sacks of flour with each iteration.)
3) place a sack of flour in the baking station. This will enable the 'fresh dough' item creation. 1 sack of flour yields 5 fresh dough. (Note: multiple sacks of flour can be processed at a time.)
4) place fresh dough in the baker's oven. When lit, the oven will eventually produce 1 'baked bread load [sic]' per 1 fresh dough.

Tip: adding 1 honey to 1 dough in the baker's oven produces 1 'honey baked bread load [sic]'

Tip: with the "Yeast" engram trained, creating fresh dough in the baking station enables trading dough for yeast

Prime Salad

Placing 1 cooked prime meat and 1 cabbage into the baking station yields 1 prime salad.

Tip: the baking station operates automatically. It will produce the item after a slight pause w/o any further player action once the required ingredients are placed in the station.

Nice to see some recipes! What does eating each of those do?

I haven't sat down and figured out the actual numbers yet. (I'm inclined to leave that to someone more interested in 'nuts and bolts'. I just like making stuff. :steamhappy: )

But on a very basic level I think I can make the following observations:

By itself, bread is just another consumable. Eat it to gain a fairly ordinary amount of food. Of course, it's also a cooking ingredient in other recipies. I've only found the one so far - "fillet and bread", but I suspect there are more. Or soon will be more if development of this mod ever contiues. I've got a whole bunch of jam that I want to use to make PB&J sandwiches. Gotta figure out the peanut butter, though. And no, it's not cashews. At least not that I've been able to figure out yet. (Jam is produced by boiling berries together with sugar and water in the cauldron.)

Coffee adds a little food but, more importantly, gives you a temporary heat-resistance buff. I'm guessing - I haven't gotten my tea crop in yet - but I'd wager that a cup of tea give a cold resistance buff.

The other recipies I've listed - prime salad, chicken and rice and fillet and bread - all give a goodly amount of food when eaten. But they also have a 15-minute buff that significantly reduces the accumulation of hunger. For fifteen minutes, you don't get as hungry nearly as fast as you usually do. They're therefore all more than worth the effort it takes to make them - at least in my opinion.

Medicinal Brew

Combine 20 tintoberry with 2 narcotic and 1 water in a cauldron and heat to produce 1 medicinal brew.

The label claims, "This brew has no nutritional value but promotes healing."
