For those who want Hak Pad, but dont want their game save branded with "cheat used"
for those concerned with the big yellow words that say "cheats used" that covers your saved game, you can get rid of that by using the kse editor mod. find your file containing kotor 2 (usually under C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II) choose your saved game (if you have multiple characters you can click on a save and it will tell you the player name and the save name) scroll down until you see 'Cheats Used: #' select that and then on the left side click the 'No' option, IMPORTANT there wont be any changes untill you click "apply" and then "Commit Changes". after that your game save will no longer have an anoying "cheats used" message.

Also, if you cheat after this and then save, your game will once again be branded with "cheats used" again. so everytime you use a cheat all you have to do is repeat the process described above.

if you have any other questions or need help, comment below and i will try to help you

well I would if kse would work...
but if your using kse why not just use that for items and light/dark points etc?

because then you would have to quit the game and start up kse everytime you want to change something

How do i turn on cheats
i'm more curious as to how I can get it in game without using the console commands? as it enacts a rather annoying bug, that no matter my influence with my companions, they still go the opposite alignment to what my characters alignment is.
