Information on the agile aesthetic update strategy
As progress is made on the below expect that more textures and mesh props will get added and details to the terrain finalized, it can get very wasteful to feel you have the terrain looking good only to carve a road through it so the current state is more of a mold for the rest of the park to be etched out in.

What is currently in progress
Slight adjustments to the terrains hills ramping will be done to allow travel in areas that intuitively should be traverse able as they are found.

Service Road placement for dirt standard roads, 5ft fenced, and 24ft fenced areas - this work has already started and will stretch from the helipad.

Primary and Secondary Tour Road placement for electric guided standard roads, 5ft fenced, and 24ft fenced areas

(In Testing) Name map spawn locations (East, West, etc) will become (Docks, Helipad, Visitors Center, etc)

(In Testing) Update hand held map and UI maps to reflect the correct island visual as well as identify points of interest.

Update dino spawn locations to fit in their home range with Paddock non animal areas generally on the opposite side of the road

Custom map meshes and assets for points of interest
Rivers, and waterfalls from custom static mesh
Visitor's Center
Velociraptor Holding Pen
Pteranodon Aviary
Safari Lodge
Iguanadon Inn
Emergency Bunker
Boat Docks
Helipad
Airstrip
Tour road railing for guided tour routes
24ft electric fence posts and wire sections
5ft electric fence posts and wire sections
Perimiter fence components
Access gates for each fence type
The main gate with user placeable/operatable dinosour doors.
GeoThermal Power Plant
HydroElectric Power Plant
Wind Mill Power Station
Desalinization and Water Treatment Plant

custome dionosour skins? maybe? to soon to ask?
@delta I'm sure it'll happen evertually, perhaps it is too soon to ask. but as I see it this is a wishlist/ suggestion box.

I have a suggestion (again long term) That there be multiple versions of the mod. One be a totally normal version of Jurassic Park, and a ruined version with vones overgrowing it and stuff. And if you're feeling ambitious. Maybe far down the raod make a Jurassic World map. Again very long term suggestions.

Personally I could care less about Isla Sorna, I'm much more interested in their being a "Jurassic World" version of Isla Nublar. But before all of that I want an Isla Nublar Jurassic Park polished to perfection.

As the ideas flow, what's your thought on adding more water sources through the map, its a very large map and even though Isla Nublar doesnt have so many small lakes - it would help for playability at scale as well as to have the diversity of lake creature types.

So is this based on Jurassic World, or Jurassic Park? The island's landmass and shape seems to indicate that it is Isla Nublar in 2015, but it seems you're going for 1993 Jurassic Park..? Either way, it's pretty cool looking, I'm excited to see the future product. Will places such as the Visitor Center be explorable?

From your list of places, it seems you're using the JP Legacy map for additional locations - it should be noted that a lot of these are simple speculation and are not known to be on the island. That doesn't mean DON'T do it, though! The Iguanodon Inn, for example, is never mentioned anywhere - it seems more likely that the place for visitors to stay would simply be the Safari Lodge (which, by the way, is somehow connected to the Visitor Center complex). It also seems that you will not be using the places from Jurassic Park; The Game, such as the North Dock (there are multiple docks on the island, otherwise there wouldn't be a sign reading "EAST" Dock), Marine Facility / Desalnization Plant, Field Lab, Quarantine Pens and Boneshaker Roller Coaster?

I'm also the developer of the "Return to Jurassic Park" mod for Trespasser, so I've been working on an Isla Nublar as well. It will be interesting to see how you guys interpret the island opposed to how I do it (mind you, mine is at a small scale and on an engine from 1998!). Looks pretty good so far. It seems that if you go for the 1993 park, you're going to come aross a lot of problems with the position of the roads and fences due to the shape of the island being the one used in Jurassic World. For example, take a look at any map from the movie that you see on the various control room monitors - the shape of the island is completely different, as well as a lot of the elevation. Working all of the fences and roads to that shape will likely be a great challenge, especially since there is a lot less coastline in the west to work with. Best of luck on that front!

As for adding more water sources, that makes perfect sense - it's not like every single lake would be mapped out. There would be ponds, elevated streams, and likely sources to feed the jungle river coming down from the hills. The helipad, for example, would have a river going through the mountains that feeds the waterfall. Don't forget about the lake where they saw the brachiosaurs, either.

Anyway, keep up the good work, I'm gonna keep an eye on this little mod.
