I have a suggestion (again long term) That there be multiple versions of the mod. One be a totally normal version of Jurassic Park, and a ruined version with vones overgrowing it and stuff. And if you're feeling ambitious. Maybe far down the raod make a Jurassic World map. Again very long term suggestions.
From your list of places, it seems you're using the JP Legacy map for additional locations - it should be noted that a lot of these are simple speculation and are not known to be on the island. That doesn't mean DON'T do it, though! The Iguanodon Inn, for example, is never mentioned anywhere - it seems more likely that the place for visitors to stay would simply be the Safari Lodge (which, by the way, is somehow connected to the Visitor Center complex). It also seems that you will not be using the places from Jurassic Park; The Game, such as the North Dock (there are multiple docks on the island, otherwise there wouldn't be a sign reading "EAST" Dock), Marine Facility / Desalnization Plant, Field Lab, Quarantine Pens and Boneshaker Roller Coaster?
I'm also the developer of the "Return to Jurassic Park" mod for Trespasser, so I've been working on an Isla Nublar as well. It will be interesting to see how you guys interpret the island opposed to how I do it (mind you, mine is at a small scale and on an engine from 1998!). Looks pretty good so far. It seems that if you go for the 1993 park, you're going to come aross a lot of problems with the position of the roads and fences due to the shape of the island being the one used in Jurassic World. For example, take a look at any map from the movie that you see on the various control room monitors - the shape of the island is completely different, as well as a lot of the elevation. Working all of the fences and roads to that shape will likely be a great challenge, especially since there is a lot less coastline in the west to work with. Best of luck on that front!
As for adding more water sources, that makes perfect sense - it's not like every single lake would be mapped out. There would be ponds, elevated streams, and likely sources to feed the jungle river coming down from the hills. The helipad, for example, would have a river going through the mountains that feeds the waterfall. Don't forget about the lake where they saw the brachiosaurs, either.
Anyway, keep up the good work, I'm gonna keep an eye on this little mod.
