How does one change or differentiate the types of troop in the "Army" units?
I'm currentlystuck with about 6200 naginata spearmen, plus my personal guard of samurai. I'd like to change the "Army" naginata men to other units.

I did not play too much but what i found out is that you would just have to go to your castle and train them to get better types of units.

i have them trained at 100. Do i justkeep training? and also does the equipment bar come in effect also? i have clicked the equipment and it will add a few of "Crossbows" "Horses" etc etc. Do those items allow my men to use those to become cav and archers and musketeers?

Never mind we have figured it out! The "Army" is made up by percentage from the Regular type units that you can upgrade.

You can change your units class in vanilla party section and there is also 10 bodygards in camp section and partners I think (sorry for my bad english)

... enter your town, click on equipment tab, click on what you want to build. Also changing any your LT's gear effects units in battle.
