How do I disable unit reallocation on multiplayer?
When two of my friends and I were playing the Iwo Jima map (which was GREAT!) the biggest problem that we were having is that when we ordered new units, the game would rebalance our unit allotments by ripping control of units we had and giving them to others.

So, if I had 10 infantry in a squad somewhere and one of my friends ordered a new group of infantry, then sometimes I lost control of up to half the guys in the squad I was actively controlling and fighting with as some of those guys were handed off to either of the two friends.

Is there a way to disable this feature?

Ask game devs. I don't know any way to disable this game engine feature.

Very odd, we've been playing unmodded MoW and we've not had this problem. Sure, new units on the field will split among the players, but normally once a unit is "mine" it stays mine unless I hand it off to someone.

Fully untrue. It is not mod feature.
You may have same issue in the vanilla MoW:AS2 game.

That is not what I am referring to.

When new units enter the field, they split among players. That is normal.

The "new behavior" that we are experiencing is that when new infantry enter the field ALL the units on the field get re-split among the players. Infantry that has been on the field for 30 minutes gets reallocated among the players when a new group of infantry steps onto the field.

For additional information, this issue is definitely present in the Skirmish modes, we tried Iwo Jima and one of the German maps (I forget the name, but the one where you have to start by crossing a bridge). When we did that game mode where there's two rounds attack/defense (Frontline?) we all had our own unique unit pools and everything was fine.

If you would like, I'd be happy to go online with you to test out and show you more specifically the behaviors that we are experiencing.

Again, your mod is great and my friends and I have had quite a lot of fun in it, I've recommended it to a few other friends of mine as well. :)

Is it possible that there is some flag that is supposed to get set when a unit arrives on the battlefield to say that it is no longer a reinforcement?
