Good point but a poll of some sort should be made, not all the players will be happy with the new change. It's worth a try. I feel like this would be great overall to be a random variable on the maps. Maybe they can be switched on or off, or plain blown out. Like on office with the garage door i'm sure something similar can be worked out switch wise.
Edit: looks like you don't know nothing about mapping and about optimization, dynamic lights doesn't lag, unless you are running the game on a potato
