How to: Epoch on the Workshop.
How to: Download and Enable Epoch mod.

PLEASE REMOVE ANY PREVIOUS INSTALLS OF EPOCH BEFORE SUBSCRIBING

1. Subscribe to Epoch mod from the workshop.

2. Open the Arma 3 launcher. "Can be done by clicking play on Arma 3 in your Games Library"

3. Click the mods button on the launcher and click the checkbox to the left of the Epoch mod.

4. Click play.

You may have to wait to fully download the mod as it is over 1gb. Most users will not notice as steam is silly fast most of the time.


How to find a server?

Once you have clicked play from the launcher the game will open and you can click the play button then Multiplayer button.

A new menu will pop up and you can click the FILTER button in the bottom left. In the Host section type in the word Epoch and click ok.

A plethera of servers will begin to populate. Make sure you are using the same Arma 3 build and Epoch build. These are usually listed in the server name.

Double click a server you would like to play on and enjoy the ride!


[FAQ]

Q: I've done the steps but I keep getting kicked.
A: Some servers run custom mods. Find the website for the server you are trying to play on and see if they use any additional mods.


DLC Required?

The DLC is used by us and incorperated. This does not mean that you can't play if you don't have the DLC. It just means you might not be able to use all of the content that DLC has provided. Simply follow the steps above and you should have no problem playing if you don't have the DLC.


Should I get the DLC?

There are many that would say It's just a money grab but I would beg to differ. The team working on Arma 3 provide not only a DLC but a lot of included features/content for free inline with the DLC content. Some of the content they don't even profit off of. For example the Carts DLC, 100% goes to charity and it's only $2.00US. Yet my friends and I have had hours of fun in the carts and in the outfits. Not to mention the starter pistol is amazing at night!

NOTE: If you are having issues updating to the current version of Epoch. Close Arma 3 and the Arma 3 launcher. Unsubscribe from the mod, launch the Arma 3 Launcher, check to see it's removed, close the Arma 3 Launcher, then re-subscribe to the mod and relaunch the game.
