Since I saw your mod have word realism in its name maybe this is what I looking for!
What I really loved in this game is a good share of historical realism, even if it was achieved by scripts and restrictions. At least it was the case in "Art of War" times. I dont care if game is easy, hard, repetetive or boring, i just love one thing in games - REALISM.
Recently I tried "Cossakcs" build.. What a mess, man! In 1600 every region dominated by single regional power (like Mutapa captured whole Eastern Africa up to Nile Dleta!), Ottomans sailing around Australia. Some LSD stuff right there.
Now Im desperately looking for a methods to bring back all that realistic history progression into the game without going back to 1.8 version.
Is your mod is right thing for the task? Increased war cost seems like a good feature to prevent Mutapa from capturing whole Africa. Does it eventually lead to more historical progression? Or maybe you can recommend something else, some other mod or tweaks?
Thanks in advance for your answer and for a job you doing for community!
Good luck!
If you like realism, then yes - this mod is for you.
Can you say please, does your mod improve historical progression in particular?
Will it limit expansion of AI (map painting)? Like I dont mind if Mali will conquer one or two neighbours, but I dont want them to conquer WHOLE western Africa!
Does your mod help with this?
Thans for your answer?
Every game is different, but most of the time countries develop in a semi-historical direction. So no crazy blobbing etc.
Reverting to historical ideas, decreasing Ai aggressiveness + your Mod should do!
Thanks!
P.S. Are you and Total Warrior from strategium are the same persons?
yes
Thank you! :D
