Minor nitpicks
I love the latest version of the mod - but a couple of small tweaks would be benefical. The Fire Ship is too powerful early on - it just decimates any units near the coast. Should be lower power and maybe just range 1 not 2.
Warmongering is penalized too much and lasts too long. I tend to play avoiding conflict wherever possible but invariably end with 3 or more states acusing me of serious warmongering and there's no peace to be had after that. It seems you can never repair it either.

One new suggestion:
Resources should be convertible into a new resource if you have the right buildings/advances. E.g. Iron -> Steel with a Steel Plant (with steel worth more than Iron in trades). Likewise with the Jeweler. Oil -> Gasoline?
