It only needs a different animation.
Probably do an animmatio nlike The Sharp Dresser and I can't be bothered to correct my gramtical eroors.
Since all the engi really does is pry open boxes so that already built machines may get out by themselves, or crush sappers with a swing, I find this weapon fitting as a engineer class weapon. No building involved, just opening boxes, at least from what we can see. heck in the same fashion he already has access to a wooden hammer. This reminds me of a Russian piece of weaponry that was so sturdy it was said that, if it should encounter any malfunction, it could be fixed with a hammer.
The fact that it would be the first time we had an all class workshop weapon that wouldn't be promotional doesn't mean it can't or shouldn't happen.
Besides many of the promotional weapon came from the workshop. this could be a Half-life 3 or a Black mesa promotional item.
I really wouldn't know how to justify this for the spy though... I don't think I could.
Neither Golden Frying Pan, Saxxy , Necro smasher nor even Gunslinger are not wrenches...
