What, if anything, does this mod change about pathfinding?
I just started experimenting with T++, and while a lot of the features look nice, I'm running into some problems. Two quick ones before I get to the main point of this thread: One, I'm having the same issue with all traffic using only the left lane of highways that a lot of people have reported, and two, I've also started getting an "incompatible mod detected" warning when loading a city with Traffic Manager also enabled (which wasn't happening earlier today).

Now the main question. In addition to the highway traffic issue, which is very obvious, I *think* I noticed something more subtle: It seems like traffic patterns throughout my city shift a bit when I load T++, even with no road customizations made.

For example, I have a roundabout that's used as a main transfer point between a large industrial area, a highway, and a main arterial, and it's usually somewhere between very busy and overwhelmed 24/7. With T++ enabled, suddenly it gets noticeably quieter, and other routes nearby (and not so nearby) that were previously relatively slow develop heavy traffic.

Some of the shifts seem nonsensical, too, like truck traffic getting off the highway an exit before this roundabout to slowly crawl along a parallel two-lane frontage road to get to a destination that the roundabout services pretty directly.

Is any of this expected behavior? Does T++ make fundamental changes to the pathfinding routines outside of simply enforcing lane restrictions? I didn't see anything to suggest that anywhere in the mod description, or in any posts or discussions I've seen about it here and elsewhere. It's also not something I want, FWIW.

I can post saves and logs and stuff if it helps, but I thought I'd check to see if this is WAD or actually a bug before bothering.

It's all due to the same bug (except the compatibility with Traffic Manager, that should have been unaffected). It should be fixed now.

Currently, the only changes made to the pathfinding algorithm are to restrict lane usage and use custom speeds. Nothing else should be affected.

Awesome, good to know. I wondered if it might be related to the highway lane usage problem.

Thanks for all your hard work, keep it up!

I think this could actually go in this treat since we are talking about cars using only the left lane, this is a screenshot of my highway, http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=448858990 all the cars trucks etc use only the median line unless they are coming of a ramp or exiting one.
It happen before but they used to used at least 2 lines now only one.
If there is a solution I would like to know.
Thanks.
