Buttons not on screen

On 800x600 I got the button of starting a skirmish down on my screen. the same with the button for graphic changes. however, when i change graphics to (many different) higher resolutions the UI / GUI changed strangly, so that i cannot longer reach the former named buttons.

Solutions?
(W7 64 bit) (Full HD TV)
