Description
Star Trek has captured the imaginations of people all over the world for the past half century, it has been the people that we wanted to be, it has held the utopian future that we want waiting for us, and it has had some really cool starships and technology to boot!

Starting with a fully equipped outpost, a full fleet or a single flagship play as the versatile United Federation of Planets, the enigmatic Romulan Star Empire or as the formidable Klingon Defence Force through four of the most significant turning points in Star Trek history:

- In the ENT era (2160's) see the ships which starred in "Star Trek: Enterprise", and the ships which were just around the corner
- In the TOS era (2250's) see the ships from the Original Series of Star Trek back in the beginning, with a few gaps filled in too
- In the TMP era (2310's) see the ships which saw the end of the classical "Movie" era ship designs and the beginning of the next generation
- In the TNG era (2380's) see the ships that were in "Star Trek: The Next Generation", "Star Trek: Voyager" and "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine"

We aim to boldly go where no Star Trek game has gone before!

Think you can select which class ships you can build ie exclude certain classes look at the settings, this could be something that started in the remastered version. You might be able to do start with full fleet and put in which classes of ships to exclude from being built but again this could be something that's only in the remastered version. Check settings, try the remastered version, apply the beta patch from preferences with code ilovehomeworld or Ilovehomeworld. The patche fixes a few things like formations and annoying bugs. Hope this helps.

Is there any known way to create a simple mission where I select the start ships for each team.

Get the new remastered version of this mod and try that, the ships fly better and there are many new updates that are not in this older version of the mod. Hope you get the new one you'll love it if you like this mod.

One way you can save your ships from going mma on the enemy. Set your smaller craft to aggressive, they can movce fast and dogdge the enemy ships especisally the cap ships, put your larger craft on defensive so they avoid getting to close. It is something that is in the base game that makes the ships go that close and crash. They are looking at it but any new updates will be to the remastered version not this one. This version is no longer being worked on, go to the remastered version and download that vs this. It plays much better and there are many updates and patches that are not in this older version of the mod.

Is there a way to go beyond triple integrity? I might be missing something but it takes a bit of time to build ships, and they pop in no time. It's a very quick blap fest. Borg cubes, main structures can have a fleet dropped in and instant blap. Doesn't feel balanced or at least I'm not satisfied with how quickly the battles resolve. Personal preference to less ships and longer combat times, reasons to warp out repair etc. Feels very twitchy.

The Manheim Centre is not in this mod, it's in the Remastered version ;)

It creates a "manheim effect" which freezes all enemy ships in range in time

So I've just noticed the Manheim centre.. what the hell does that do? Apparently not much when I activate it, couldnt figure it out..

It's how the game moves it's ships, it is better in HWRM. Also if you put the cap ships in defensive mode they'll turn quicker and put the strike craft on aggressive to draw the enemy from hitting your cap ships when you first engage, then it's a fyrball :steamhappy:

Yes, since it's essentially unchanged since we moved to HWRM. It's much improved in the other version

does this mod still have the issue where ships will collide with each other and asplode?
