Another Expansion & Fundraising?
This is a question for both @The Last Order, the author of this wonderful expansion, and everyone who has enjoyed it.

I really like this expansion and, frankly, I want more! I would happily pay to get more. I know Valve added (then quickly removed) the ability to pay for workshop content, so a couple questions:

1) Is there anything in the Steam TOS that is against crowdfunding mods?

2) The Last Order: Is this something you would be willing to consider accepting? If so, would you give some thought to how much financial incentive would make it worth your while to create another unofficial expansion?

3) How many of you would be willing to contribute?

Wow, I'm really null at keeping track of Steam notifications!! Sorry for answering so terribly late to this thread, I'm not the forum-type guy :)

Thanks a lot for your kind words, it's so good to read that so many people has already enjoyed this (unofficial) expansion.

1) I think so, but I don't know why.

2) I could consider it, absolutely, but only if there were a significant ammount of micro investors (I wouldn't like to charge more than a small feem per player, like 2 or 3 €, for this job, as far as it took me a few months to do all of this by myself and I must admit that is a very demanding job that requires a serious invest of time :O)

I'd like to finish the 2nd part any day soon, at least before the Grimrock 3 appears in the sky ;)

Thank you again Nocluetoo :)

I don't mind giving a couple of dollars for a well made mod that's entertained me for about 9 hours. But I don't like crowdfunding. Its a great idea but is badly flawed.

There are many flaws with it but i'll just start by saying I'd rather pay for something I know for sure is good and is currently in existence (not some big promise set to be delivered in the future).

You got be alittle excited there.. But yes, their next game Druidstone is work in progress. But its really an action rpg isometric game.. I'm going to guess that its a different universe than Grimrock. But I'd like to believe its the same world. I mean. They even drew a really nice map of an entire world but never really used much of it.

Just wondering: Is the 2nd part a add-on (to the current one) or a new one that starts from where part 1 left off?

I'm terribly sorry to inform that the 2nd part has been cancelled for now.
I'm opening an Escape Room in my town and it's taking all the time of the world for real :P

Sorry to let you down guys! :(

Nah.. its ok.. Escape Room sounds fun and it makes $ too.. If you don't have to pay too much for the space

Hehehe, it seems to be that way. Hopefully I will retake the 2nd part, as its halfway to be done ;)
Best regards and thanks for the awesome videos! :D

THANKS! It makes playing games more fun just like taking photos or selfies on a vacation. I didn't believe it myself until I 1st tried it.

Edit: Btw, how will it come? As an entirely new map or as an add-on to the one here? If its entirely new, the items from part 1 will be lost and if its add-on, I'll have to play the entire 9 hours again... Both doesn't sound all that great... But of course I'd rather lose items than replay just because replay is boring and losing items just makes the game all that more challenging.

True fact! :D

Well, it will comes as an enterily new map, but I had thought about the item dilema and the best solution I think is having a respawn chamber where you can pick up anything that had appeared in the first part; so basically there will be a place where you can choose all the items and then you can proceed (except food and situational items). This is relying completely into the honesty of the players :P ;)
