Total War: ATTILA

Total War: ATTILA

Radious Total War Mod
Unable to stop allies attacking my tributary states via diplomatic actions
Hello everyone.

Question is simple,

When I attack a state and call my allies to join war on the side of me, They never stop attacking even after I make this state my tributary state. There should be a diplomatic action option to ask my allies to stop attacking my tributary state. This is really annoying, especially when my horde allies raze my tributary states. They should be think twice before doing it.

May be radious fix it?

I am sorry, but this is not possible to change by us - modders. Adding new diplomatic options is simply to possible to mod in. Only develoeprs could do something about this issue.

Thank you for your reply. Developers should fix it then.

I remember a mod for Rome2 where all client states was made as Satrapie i think in any rate they was in auto peace with a new created client state/Satrapie after war. Sadly i didnt saw such mod for Attila and i didnt found a option to change it with PFM and my low modding skills.

Would it be possible to create a sub mod that change all client states to real rightless puppet states whitch only can trade agreements and auto join war/peace with their masters like in Shogun2?
what is the point of having satrapies anyways

late reply but it makes it easier to acually hold the lands. Not to mention create some intresting things down the road. conquering everything gets boreing after awhile.

Since Shogun 2 the "Best friends keep attacking my vassals on reflex" issue is my biggest gripe with TW games, and it's been in all of them. Anybody that comes up with a work-around will be put in my personal Hall of Heroes for all time.
thats how war works, your allies are allies with you not their enemies, you dont own them, you just have dual sided allegiance and you have to choose who to support. just like the real world, cant bend every general/country explicitly to your will

The real world is not how you say it is, nowadays any kind of treaty is considered world scale, so generally you don't see people still attacking an already defeated enemy, it's a waste of resources, so unless someone is purposely trying to conquer said people, the don't attack them. Also if you end up making that enemy your vassal or tributary, you are saying that you'll protect them in exchange for them being a part of your empire. Now if military allies attack your vassals or tributaries then you as the tributaries overlord are allowed to decide if you're going to help them or not. If your military allies were already at war with them before you came along and conquered them then after you conquer them your allies should stop attacking them, as they're part of your empire. So no you can't control another countries actions (such as those of your military allies) but if you conquer a people and make them vassals/tributaries then your military allies have to stop attacking them cause they're part of your empire, otherwise you'll have to choose between helping your new vassal or not. Now if it's between two tributaries than you could get involved but most times unless you think one of them could become strong enough to challenge you, you tend to not care about it. See EU4 for examples of this, that game has much better campaign mechanics, it's just that I still like total war a little bit more, at least modded that is.

I think it is realism. Just look at what Turkey does to YPG in Syria. Turkey actually attacks US's client state and they are an ally of US

Actually main issue is lack of diplomatic action for this situation. My allies wasn't enemy of my tirbutrary states, I asked that. But I should ask again to stop attacing to my tirbutrary states. They may stop attacking or not, this would be their call. But I would like to have this option. I think real realism should be just like that. Negotiations in every sense..
