not sure if intended or a bug...
when i play this mission in singleplayer it does not let me use the "Y" menue to call ammo drops or anything? is the singleplayer part of the mod an old version or something? for some reason the past few weeks ArmA3 has not let me "host" a mp mission to play by myself...when i start the mission (when i leave the "class" selection to actually play) it goes to a black screen with a "waiting for players or server init" messege appearing

Sometimes when you load up a SP game, you need to reinitialize the 'Y' key in order for it to work. You can do so via the "Game Options" menu accessed at the HQ whiteboard.

If you mean that you can open the Y menu but don't have access to many of the options, try downloading and manually installing the Dropbox version. I was having an issue recently where Steam refused to give me the most recent version of the mod (and actually downloaded an *older* version when I tried to unsubscribe/resubscribe!), with the result that I couldn't access a lot of the features that were added in recent updates. Sounds like that might be what's happening to you too if your issue is missing options in the menus rather than the Y key not loading up the menus at all (which my first response presumed).

elvinable, about the black screen, on some desktops it may take some time, as mission initialisation takes time.
