Loading A Savegame corrupts everything?
Me and my friends have been playing this scenario a ♥♥♥♥ ton,and we've encountered so many bugs and glitches we can't even count. But today has been the last straw. Me and my friend loaded a savegame and it seemed okay at first. Then we realized when we tried to get missions, they'd auto-fail. Also my friend was no longer commander and could not access half the options required to basically play the game. We relogged and found out that the 5k we had dissapeared and all of our weapons in the ammobox dissapeared. Soon enough we gave up and used our static HMGs to blow up our entire base in rage. If anyone has encountered stuff like this or if anyone has a fix,I'd love to know. Me and my friend use Advanced Towing and Arma Enhanced Movement. Thanks for any support given!

Did you load your persistent save or the ARMA save? Only the persistent save built into the scenario is reliable and able to save all of the additional information that Antistasi requires.

That might be it,me and my friend will try and see if we can work that out.But does the persistent save also save the inventories of containers?

I'm not sure exactly what containers you would want to be storing items in beyond the one at HQ, but I can confirm it does save all items in the ammo box at HQ. Beyond that, I'm not sure, but I don't believe it will save those.

Also, I don't think the items in the vehicle ammo box (the grey one) are saved. The green ammobox where your virtual arsenal is accessed definitely gets saved though.

There's a glitch that keeps happening to me when we load the save, and btw, thanks for telling us to use persistent saving, but whenever we load it up I can't see the weapons that we start off with. I relloged once while the server was running and got back on only to see no weapons in the ammo box,as you start off with some, but the weird thing was that my friend could see them. I guess it's not gamebreaking since I have my friend but it'd be great to be able to grab the weapons. Btw,all the other stuff stayed, just the weapons dissapeared.

Most things you carry on your person do not save when you persistent save, so make sure to put those in your ammobox before doing a persistent save. This includes the weapons you start out with on your person. Those starting weapons are only given if a player chooses to not load a previous session. If run out of those weapons, just have your friend keep logging in without loading a previous session. It will give him starting weapons and corresponding items to his class (for example, engineer gets toolkits and explosives) every time.

Also, if your ammobox fills up to the point where it won't simply let you drag and drop items into it, then get a vehicle, put the items you would like to transfer into the vehicle. Then walk up to your ammobox and hit something like "Transfer Vehicle Cargo to Ammobox" in your action wheel. You can also do the opposite if you get in the driver seat of a transport type vehicle like a Zamak, by hitting "Transfer Ammobox to Vehicle."

I'm not sure what's going on with your friend being able to see things in the ammobox when you can't. Did it do this in just one session or after loading a persistent save multiple times?

Me and my friend tried out the persistent save thing,so we started a new game. I checked the ammobox inventory and we had some guns. We saved and restarted the server. We loaded in and I sped through the launcher so it didn't have time to enable the mods since I also restarted my Arma,so I realunched Arma w/ the mods and logged in again. We played for a little while until me and my friend got demolished by a Strider GMG patrolling in a nearby town. I respawned and checked the ammobox, and it didn't have any of the starting weapons in it,even though earlier it was filled with weapons. I checked with my friend, somehow he survived, and he checked and evidently, there was indeed guns in there. If that helped, let me know.

If there are no guns there for you after loading the persistent save again, then I honestly have no idea what's wrong or how to fix it. Hopefully Barbolani (the dev) can help you out.
