What about when playing as Commander I notice I can take money out of the cash pool but it doesn't show how much it affects my ranking.
I'll confess I gave myself an easy start changing starting HR to 16, FIA money 5000, personal cash 1000 (later I put back to 100 because that can be exploited) and with that I took a radiotower, later some towns, around 4 outposts, an airfield, this has been hard work but I'm still ranked PRIVATE, is it because I take money from the fund?
If so can you think about lessening the penalty or increase the rewards the Commander gets for objectives and capturing so that I can still get some rank? Now if someone were to join and do something small they might get commander, could cause disruption. I know there is option to disable the commander switching mechanic but I think that is a good idea. Just tweak it so all players rank up a little faster and the Commander gets extra rank which he uses to take money from the fund for small stuff (like medic and engineer) But show when pulling out money is going to affect rank.
Also maybe you could think about a "Game difficulty setting" that works like:
Easy:
16 HR, 5000 faction start, fast ranking speed, high personal cash rewards, low withdraw penalty
Med:
8 HR, 2500 faction start, med ranking speed, med personal cash rewards, med withdraw penalty
Hard:
4 HR, 1000 faction start, slow ranking speed, low person cash rewards, high withdraw penalty

As commander do I rank up when Objectives get taken or just when I get a kill? Also it is so hard to get personal money I started selling cars but that goes to the faction, I'm just saying the game I've been playing has felt pretty balanced in difficulty, but I have a lot extra HR, not enough personal money, but faction money seems about right. I know you're a pro at the mission that's why I suggest some balance tweaks (for lesser players) and maybe even difficulty settings for people that want to go hardcore...
