I thought it was a workshop error possibly an error on my end after adding the units but after starting all over again it's still there.

Do they have for example the "tagg" guarantee shield in the troop code? And are you sure that the sword you gave them is recognized and given to the troop?

Yes I tagged them for a shield and the weapons they are using default weapons with a different name and slightly weaker stats.

Hey I can't find Bellum Imperii in my modules to create any custom units. Help?

It's going to be under C:\program filesx86\steam\steamapps\workshop\content and there is a number that represents your games it will be in one of those files. I know that's not very helpful but thats the way that steam handles the workshop mods for certain games for some reason.
