Germanic barbarians hate my barbarian culture?
So in the character creation I chose barbarian because I assumed that was what the Germanic tribes were counted as, but every time I enter a village it says they hate my culture, what?

IDK man, but in Parthia everyone is barbarian, and they hate my Eastern culture lol

+1 I believe it has not been finished yet. In the barbarian villages the barbaric culture is hated, but in the cities it is tolerated, that makes no sense.

To my knowledge, the christianization of the germanic tribes began in the 4th century.

That's sad because it's the only Warband-Mod with germanic people, even in VC their troops are christianized (Frisian). But okay, that's also in a later period.

The Saxons were not Christian until around 800 AD when Charlemagne massacred them all.

Yes, these were the last germanic peoples who were converted. The dev probably expected to play over 800 AD.

Conan was a barbarian tolerated in the cities, and he overthrew those cities. Try that.
