Problem:Freeses at Character Startup Screen

I downloaded the Workshop version, but it froze at the character face creation screen. Then I downloaded the version at mod db, and it keeps freezing once I choose a location to spawn in at the character creation menu. I don;t know what to do. Can someone help?
