This should be a primary
sniper gets the huntsman which changes the entire way hes played why cant the heavy get some new fancy toy that does just that? rather than the same old spin up and shoot many bullets we get a shotgatliautomaticgunshotthing heavy can stay mobile but doesnt have the extreme damage or range of a minigun fat scouts unite!

Agreed, the heavy should have an alternate type of main weapon that allows a very different playstyle (we have huntsman snipers, demoknights, gunslinger engies, a bunch of different roles for scouts&pyros, rocket jumper/market gardening and beggar's soldiers, crossbow/kritz medics, dead ringer spies, etc), sandvich vs shotgun heavy is hardly a change so something like a beefed up shotgun would be good.

Well this can be a different role for Heavy:

Shotgun: -30% Clip size or -15%, Bullets add 20% or 15% more damage, and reload time increases 15%

Minigun: Has more mobility (faster running/walking speed by ??%), Have to reload unlike miniguns, self mark for death (optional), and 20% bonus damage

Idea, to make it more viable in some disagree, this gun should be able to deflect projectiles to be legitmately more useful and less likely to be frowned upon.

but as a shotgun it has more barrels than the stock one-how does this work
