I also agree that it's no more toxic than The Schadenfreude. Taunts are just that: Taunts. They were put into the game to, on some level, get under your opponents skin and try to tilt them. The only way you can truly avoid raging and toxicity is to conquer and control your own response to it. if that doesn't work you can always mute 'em or find a different server.
Also this game has achievements that are all about taunting players you've killed and even getting someone you've dominated to ragequit the server. You may not like it, but some level of banter and toxicity is just part of the game.
I don't think you played TF2 quite often, are you way too sensitive for a game with provocative achievements and TAUNTS, alongside the maturity and nature of the classes, environment, and the player base of the game??? Why don't you go back to playing Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2?
also the guy who left this comment has 92 reviews on games they dont own and proceeds to hate on Elden Ring, Doom, Ultrakill, and Warhammer.
theyre opinion is invalid for everything now.
dont worry about them, they hate on Lego Star Wars because Star Wars is associated with "Disney AI" (which makes no sense because the game was made before disney owned star wars
and yes, i checked their profile, they have multiple bad takes on games because the games are associated with controversial companies and topics.
mate, did we play the same GW2 lol? Games unironically more toxic than TF2 I'd say, and for a variety of reasons.
Well, ingame atleast. Outside the games, TF2 discourse has it beat in the toxicity department lol
"Nooo please don't put a taunt in a game that has taunts nooo"
