They are all individually fun to play with and not to OP. The Eruptor making not much damage balances its AOE, the Hoverpack having a full round cooldown balances the face its really usefull with long range weapons, the Quasar cannon is a solid alternative to the Recoilless.
I made the mistake to test them all in the same build, which made my game incredibly easy lol.
Those are particularly extra long missions compared to other objectives.
It took us (party of 3) approximately 5 hours to clear the objective on Automaton Fortress on medium difficulty and we ran out of reinforcements. Having to go through at least 4 exploration cards when you are lucky, and 7 when you are not, only to find 3 more tiles with every ennemy in the game spawning is pretty hardcore. This without talking about the evac phase, where we all died of course
I know this is base game (and is probably going to change with test phases), but if you're keen to tweak it yourself, feel free to do so.
And unfortunately bots are definitely OP. I created alternative deck but I will be testing it with my friends so I don't know how it will go with balancing them. Atleast smoke grenades are always our friends.
