Playing a new game with dark elves and vampires, some feedback and a few (assumed) bugs.

bugs: you cant build a tailor untill you unlock the silk production tech that requires 200 pops. Intenional? Also regarding the tailor: the ability to make clothes out of fabric is missing. Guess it went away together with light armour (I've seen your post talking about item caps).
Those staffs can't be assigned on the equip army meny, you can have nothing equiped and they show up as "cant be combined with selected equipment".

observation: DE dont have the best cold resistance and if you dont build a hearth all your pops will die fast in the first winter.

Feedback: Being beastmasters and whatnot in lore with all their lizards I'd recommend not having DE be bad with all pastures but Balticrawlers, but instead a net positive. Otherwise you're stuck fishing untill you can raid someone for slaves. And raiding is gonna be hard when you need leather to make bows. I'd recommend Make DE decent with pastures (particulary onx as they also get cold climate buffs), and introducing an alternative recipe to make bows that uses fabric instead of leather. Then early game you can build a bunch of onx pastures besides your fish that will give you clothes for cold resist and then let you build bows & basic troops. Or introduce some way to get leather in cold biomes without having to tank the Auroch climate malus. (Crimson Stockade also giving leather to promote bad guy cooperation?)

Anyway really nice and promising mod, looking forward to future versions.
