Warhammer Overhaul Beta v69
Early food
How are you supposed to survive early game food wise?
All the farms, hunter and fisheries are locked behind tech (early but still), and mod adds A LOT of different growing stuff, so depending on how blessed your initial load is, you might starve to death before reaching first pop cap with innovation to switch off from pure gathering, or need to spend several minutes just generating maps over and over until getting one where you can gather enough to survive until that point

I believe additional mine-ables and growables adds to the total resources not replaces.

So if your spawn would normally have 10 resource spots on your map, and I added 10 new resources. you're much more likely to start with 20 resource spots on your map.

Now technically all the farming and pastures is basically unlocked at the start since I give you 1,000+ research points to unlock things and specialize.

But I will look into this and make it more stream-lined.
Ok that's weird then, since i get 0 innovation points on start with normal difficulty

start a new game really quickly and let me know. As far as i can tell you should start with points, works on my end.

after you unsub/resub to re-fresh files
That seams to have fixed it, its weird since I subbed to mod shortly before posting this thread.....
Guess steam shenanigans strike again, thanks mate

Not sure if your changes influence this but it feels like a lot of the spawnables (hunt, forage, mining) are being pushed to the edges of the maps.

Even if the total number is reasonable they are often so far away from any one location that the start is really hampered

your city size map is 2x bigger than vanilla to account for some of the big population requirements, so naturally everything feels very spread out. I can look through the code to see what determines placement though.
