Deformation?
Something that always lacked in every car addon was deformation. I'm asking if its possible cuz it would be sick.

And ai too? plus detachable parts and open-able hood and trunk?

that's a lot to ask buddy

deformation can work just like LVS, a bodygroup based damage

Deformation can also work using flexes. You would need to model it and import it into source with that in mind, but you could do it. It's a neat way of doing deformation. Not procedural in any sense but certainly more granular than bodygroups. Lots of work too.

It would automatically put it above every other vehicle addon tho

ya know what would be cool?

Yeah scars also have AI so its possible. Simfphys technically doesn't have it however a mod called "decent vehicle" support it

Decent Vehicle AI Is unsupported now as the mod hasn't been updated from what I am aware of.

bone driven deformation is much more dynamic than just flex driven deformation, using both would be the ultimate powermove

At least deformation how the old ps2 gtas did it in swapping out models for destructed models. I would just like the hood and trunk to flop open and fall off

LVS supports ai and has much better damage physics in my opinion, both land and sky vehicles, plus the effects when it is dragging across a surface are a nice touch

the effects that play when dragging across a surface are shown at any speed, which looks like crap tbh, as for the damage physics, idk what you're talking about, if you're talking about the basic deformation system lvs has then sure, it looks easy to port though since its incredibly basic, outside of that lvs uses a basic gib system on destruction

could we get glass breaking at the very least?
