UPDATE: The developer is refusing to fix bugs and does not support the plugin

I have got a few requests if you are still updating this plugin:

Fix placement restrictions: Even though the portals cannot be placed on some materials, they can be placed on the edge of "portalable" materials and overlap the "un portalable" materials if they are next to each other.

Fix skybox issues: When a user looks through an open portal from a certain distance or angle, the skybox disappears.

Fix portals cutting out playermodel: When a player touches a portal or goes in the middle of them, the part of their playermodel supposed to be on the other side disappears.

Fix portal "Stepping": When a user places a portal higher than another one, when they enter the lower portal the screen moves up as if the user stepped up a stair.

Change portal "cloud" texture The portal texture for when there is only one portal placed down is not the correct one from the original game. If its possible to use the original texture, please try to.

Fix method of teleportation: The method of teleportation is different to the original game, and when a player creates an "infinite portal hole" from the original game, momentum is not conserved and sometimes the player takes fall damage.

Fix view of portals through portals: When a player looks through a portal at another portal, they cannot see through that one. Instead they can see the cloud texture. I understand that this is probably not possible and I don't mind whether this is fixed or not.

Fix wall being visible behind portal: When a player opens two portals and moves around looking at the portal, the wall that it is placed in front of can be seen "flashing".

Improve support for portal maps (Item placement etc): Currently in some portal maps, when using this addon the portal gun is incorrectly placed on the pedestal (Hovering offset), AND when the pedestal is supposed to activate the portal shooting, it doesn't activate.

Fix Portal Gun first person animation duplication (While using items): When you are holding an item with the Portal Gun and you drop the item, the Portal Gun holding animation stays on screen as well as the idle portal gun animation overlapping that animation. This only happens for a few seconds.

Change Portal Gun holding item animation: The animation for the Portal Gun when holding an item is significantly different to the texture from the original game.

General optimisation issues: When a player looks through an open portal and/or enables dynamic portal lights, the FPS rate goes down significantly. In my case, the FPS halves.

That's the end of my list of requests! I hope this isn't too much and that you can fix most of them! :) Thank you for reading this.

I have encountered a bug when looking at yourself through portals, the player model gets heavily distorted from the waist up.

This is any easy one to reproduce, just place portals near each other at corners and look through one.

I guess I should have included the steps to reproduce each bug ^_^

I have done a few bug reports on different games, so it is second nature for me to list how to reproduce bugs.

Speaking of which there is a bug that causes weapon view models to either completely vanish or partially vanish if you switch between the portal gun, phys gun, and a weapon (Sometimes it will fix itself, but I haven't figured out the initial cause yet).

I've been meaning to add this bug to my list, but I'm not sure exactly how this is caused. It's quite annoying because I have to restart a map to fix it temporarily.

I'm have this problem where I shoot the portal (on the correct surface) but it does not appear. The portal shows up after multiple tries of shoting the gun.

i keep getting this in my console

When I was running in a straight line, between 2 Portals, I could easily kill me by shooting at myself. However shooting an RPG inside the Portal gives as effect that I could no longer switch to any other weapon as the RPG Rocket was stuck in the Portal. Kinda funny :)

i cant see the borders for the portals and i can't see through the portales olny the wall placed on

hey, i CAN see trough the portals perfectly, but when i try to pass trough it this i cant
