Not sure about the other points you're making. I've confirmed the fairness of the upgrading system for the majority of weapons being widely equal among tiers. And yes, of course any weapon at the end game tier is strong.
And if you have a mod which is letting you easily get platinum, that is not the responsibility of this mod to balance.
I also tested the cryophobia you mentioned, and I only noticed it working as the weapon was intended.
The cryophobia has worked as intended in testing, and multishot in this mod does not influence summoning quantity.
Also you mentioned shadowspec from calamity again, that bar is an endgame dev item in calamity which is not intended for balance
