There is an option you can adjust controlling after how many days your settlement will be built.

Try the option for instant build. It should finish then the next morning at the latest.

My castles are done in 3 days game time and the Town is like 7 days. Villages is like 3 days. I did get this work and I am using ver 1.2.12 Lets see how long i go before it crashes if it does I will go down 1 ver

I hit F1 drop down come up and then it tell you what you can do ESC will cancel it
