King who knelt event doesnt end war with the north. He becomes my vassal but the war continues

The Stark event Kneeling does not end the war, and I note that I now have to start the war manually when I defeated Shadowfall to walk on HarrenHall. Finally, Merria Martel dies too fast and before the birth of Aenys, so it is not possible to kill Rhaenys as in the lor
