My suggestion would be the possibility to hide with windows opened, that way you can pan your camera around and have a better view of the zombies, giving you the chance to avoid stepping out of the car and be seen by a zombie that was out of sight.

might sound a bit impossible considering how vehicles code work, but what about hanging t-shirts or sheets on the windows from the inside to broke line of sight with the zombies, of course it will also blind you but it might work if a horde is passing by

or hiding under vehicle by crawling

as I know, opened/closed windows do nothing except provide you with protection from zombies. also, while sitting in a car, you can use your RMB to rotate your vision cone

I had an idea to add an option in the radial menu inside vehicles, like 'Bend Down.' it would obstruct your vision, but fully hide you from zombies

it is kind of outside the scope of my mod, "Hide in Car". but I will look into that idea

Yeah i think there should be an option to cover the windows, or maybe use a sheet to cover yourself and hide under? like it's just a right click option if you have one in inventory, and limits/takes away your vision but you're fully hidden

I dunno if this is still in scope, but I would like to throw cans to distract zombies, so I can zoom away the other direction.

Can I add concealment for all places in the car, not just the driver's seat (at least that's where I get the moodle)? The mod doesn't work very well with RV mods right now. You can enter the interior from anywhere, but you logically appear in the back seats and provoke zombies. Probably doesn't work very well with 2 people in a car in multiplayer either.

Hey man , how about making it PVP oriented also. What i mean by that is allowing me to hide in a car, and my opponent not being able to see my name if he is hovering over me with panned aim
