First off, thanks for making this mod! Love what you've done with it. One thing I'm noticing with the port over to Dragonfall is that the hub tends to blackscreen after you've called your fixer. I started a new decker for this version, and I've had this happen several times -- the background just doesn't show back up after the call. You can still pull up your sheet, and you can actually clear the blackscreen by clicking on the camera arrow, but this isn't somehting that was happeneing in SU over on the main game version.

I made a character with no archetype and had a datajack installed at the doc in Little Chiba, but I'm still unable to equip a cyberdeck or smart weapon. I also tried using the Trodes Data Mesh, and Encephalon I, but it still tells me that I don't have a datajack equipped.

Then I tried making another new character, a decker this time to test if a character with a pre-installed datajack worked, and the datajack was recognized as being equipped. So it seems that datajacks purchased in-game aren't working. (on characters that don't start with one at character creation, at least) Thanks.

To save you time tracking it down, the datajack thing is caused by the lack of is_cyberware_datajack: true in the item files for all the datajack items. Adding that makes them work fine, a quick easy fix. Oh and I had the background going black thing that jebunyard is reporting in Returns too, so it isn't specific to the port.

Okay, thanks that will save a lot of time with the troubleshooting. I think I may know the cause of the black screen bug.

Every time I start a decker the game just stops from the very start. The samuari guy never approaches and talks to me or kills my brother. All i can do is quit back to the main menu. I started mage and he seemed to work just fine, but when I went to make another decker, the same thing occured (I even tried different dialouge). I'm not sure about the other classes yet.

The Cyberware "Trodes Mesh" is bugged. In the description it says, that they act as a Datajack, so I got them for my mage (to not shred the precious essence). But the deck still says "Datajack required" in the item description and I can not equip it.

I just (like 20 minutes ago) finished fixing all of the datajacks. I'll try and republish before bed, and hopefully the fix will be live in a few hours.

Great... thanks for the good work! Mod is so much fun :D

EDIT: Just encountered another bug. Everytime I try to save the game (autsave works fine) the game freezes. It still runs but stops reacting to mouseclicks or keystrokes.

On the 800 nuyen decker mission from Frosty if you fail to exploit the CPU and have to kill the defenses, the next room's node thingy doesn't show up so you can't get into the data store. Sometimes the door past the CPU doesn't open either. Something is up with the CPU room.

Great mod! Thank you for all your hardwork on this. I wanted to report that Skillwires - Ranged Combat II doesn't allow you to use Smartlink weapons. I just bought it to upgrade the regular 500 credits datajack and I can't equip my smartlink weapons any more.

Knowing the P&P-Rules, this does sound like "works as designed" if your upgrade was a replacement of the Datajack.
Skillwires should be implanted within the body and do not work like a Datajack, which you need to link a cable between your brain and the weapon so you can use the smartlink.
So, by P&P-Rules I would say: no bug

As Sheena said... Skillwires are no Datajacks. Yet the SRR-Interface only allows for one Cyberware per Bodypart. So if you want to Deck you have to give up on Skillwires. Except if the Author of this mod would insert the Induction and the Eye Datajack from the Directors Cut. Than you could use your Headware AND still use smartlinks and Decks (I loved the Induction Jack in the Directors Cut).

First off, great job! I really like this mod! Thank you so much for making it and porting it to the DC.

I did find a bug where when leaving The Jackal's Lantern after dealing with the run to kill them for Eric, you appear at the transition point for The Rat's Nest instead of back outside The Jackal's Lantern. Not a big bug at all but I figured I should let ya know. Keep up the great work :D

This problem only appears when contacting Eric via the Communication Node in "The hub". Frosty works fine.

Just encountered one, maybe two bug in a very early mission. I am supposed to hack into the Organ Grinders Database and download data.

The "maybe" bug is, that I now ran this system 5 times and always get what seems to be "normal" data loot. I sell it off at Serial Rogue and go back. Never was able to get the mission loot from the management node. Basic deck, 1 skill in spoof and browse and now a heal program.

The second bug is, that I just called my fixer from the Communication Node in the Hub, trying to see if he accepts the "normal" loot as mission loot. No beans, but I still did not want to bail on the run. After hanging up, the screen stays black-ish, like when you are loading into a matrix instance. UI is sitll there, can load and look at my inventory, but I can't move and the screen seems not to finish rendering.

Thanks for your great work Southwind. Very good fun and actually a better implementation of the ruleset than Harebrained Schemes did. Much appreciated!
