"Machine Learning Algorithm" or "1 divided by 0" is unusable ?
Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm just giving my honest opinion off the top of my head, but there's no malice intended here. I'm just trying to give my point of view.

"1 divided by 0" in the older versions was much more balanced than it is now. "Machine Learning Algorithm" is unusable in its current state. We have no information on the wiki about how to make it progress. We don’t know what affects it. When I do all the research, I barely reach stage 3/10, which is mind-blowing. And even after covering half the galaxy, doing thousands of research projects per month, tons of planets, etc., I only reach about a third. In its current state, the balance is just not good at all. Or at the very least, the wiki isn’t complete enough to explain to me how to do it. And in both cases, that’s a problem.Even though I cheated to get this, so I could test it better, I'm still puzzled that it has such a small impact, and so I don't understand how to increase it. That's why I say the wiki needs more details. To sum up, and what's more, any reason that gives us data does not give us enough, whether it is monthly or not, a single reason or a repeatable one.

The wiki needs to be more detailed about what factors are taken into account in the calculation. What gives a bigger increase than other things, the coefficients—but first of all, at least explain what actually makes the situation progress.

I’m talking here about "Learning Machine Algorithms," but in reality, the wiki should also have a section for situations in general—for example, their coefficients, what accelerates or slows them down, etc. That should definitely be part of the wiki.
Even though I realize it takes a huge amount of time—sorry about that—I’m just trying to share my point of view and help improve the mod.

I admit that I am asking for transparency and details about the reasons for the increase in the situation, and I would like to apologize because you are doing an incredible job for free, and I was a little harsh in my first message, even though you are doing all this for free and, frankly, I love your amazing work.

A picture is worth a thousand words, so here's a short video to help you understand (I use a cheat to make searches super fast, and even if we don't just do searches, it's still very important in the game and it will give you an idea).
Keep in mind that the Roman numerals next to the search names indicate how many times I've already done the search (I = 1, V = 5, X = 10, L = 50, C = 100, D = 500, and M = 1000). Personally, I'm modded with 60 mods, so I have at least 10 times more searches than in vanilla. Imagine people who only have this mod (it's not normal, I think, that I do all my searches + 100 times repeatable searches). that I manage to get 130 times on a repeatable search, which is hard to finish.

Idk what u did wrong, im reaching 10/10 in early-midgame pretty easily, while having 1,5x tech and tradition cost. My midgame date is 2275 and im always complete with situation by 2250
Personally, I don't gain anything from research, nothing from traditions, and even less from time xD, and since there's nothing in the wiki about the increase, I don't understand.
Some incompability happened for you. I have ~80 mods and I get situation progress from almost everything - mining and research stations, outposts, techs, traditions, AP's, colonization, wining and losing space and ground battles, everithyng contribute. There are one-time boosts for such things as hiring and firing leaders

No, it does that to me too, but it doesn't really affect me much. But it could be a feeling, let's say I just find it really long to load, especially since I don't know exactly what causes it to load. I tried it once and it loaded so slowly that it ruined my game, but I don't think it's due to incompatibility.

Ye, compability is fine if u gain the progress. Maybe the civic is just not suitable for ur gamestyle

Thank you very much for your detailed feedback, I really appreciate it! I will take some time to investigate the civic.

I am always thinking about the wiki and what to add, I can certainly expand it to include how this civic works. And thank you for providing a video.

I have started working on wiki documentation for the Machine Learning Algorithm situation. I documented the different events and their point value towards the situation. I wanted the information to mostly remain hidden, to provide surprises.. I hope this can provide some insights as to how to complete the situation quickly. Please take a look : https://github.com/openly-retro/stellaris-machine-robot-expansion/wiki/1.-Feature-Documentation-for-Machines-&-Robots-Expansion#machine-learning-algorithms
i love you lmao just marry me xD
