Where are the environmental sounds on the map?
I recently played here. Externally, the map is beautiful but the audio part is a nightmare. Absolutely deathly silence. It was the same on Tuscan in CS:GO with the same deathly silence.

Where are the ambient sounds of water (the map is near the sea and the harbor), the wind, birds (seagulls), sounds of streets (like in Inferno)? The gaming experience here is ruined by this absence. Without all this, the atmosphere of the North Sea is extremely incomplete and disappointing. On the map of another author of the community map (Thera), there are sounds of air, wind and waves which can be heard near the sea. This is sorely lacking here. The soul of the coastal northern place is lost.

Near the mill, it would be nice to hear the slight sound of creaking wooden blades. On the Memento map from another author of community maps that have been added such a creaking noise can be heard near wooden elevators (Paternoster lift). It would be nice to have something like that, it would really complement the atmosphere and feel of the map!

In other community maps (and all of maps by Valve) from other authors that have been added (like Thera, Memento, Pool Day), there are sounds of air, sea (on Thera), sounds of birds or dogs barking in the distance. Without these sounds, the atmosphere deteriorates, everything feels somehow "plastic". Look at Memento, they use sounds from Inferno (assets I guess, I'm not an expert in creating maps) which change in different places on the map: somewhere the sound of water, somewhere birds are singing or insects are buzzing.

I assume that there are some non-irritating assets with marine sounds, sounds of streets and premises (inside the restaurant). Similar ambient sounds are needed, as they were on the Canals map from Valve in CS:GO. There was also a lot of water and stone pavements.

In general, the map is very beautiful but only the sound atmosphere is missing! It looks very unfinished and "plastic" without these sounds. :steamsad:
