Left 4 Dead 2

Left 4 Dead 2

Prague PART 1/5
Review: 8/10
Good map, a breath of fresh air if anything after all the US and Chinese based stuff, although i've never been to Prague so i can't comment on how faithful a representation this is unfortunately

3 things i noticed and liked:
1. It's Prague, and my PC likes it: unlike some Chinese maps with enough custom assets to choke your PC to death this one feels unique and real enough without draining your resources, which is a huge plus for me.

2. You can feel the city dying around you: ambulance sirens in chapter 1, dog barking in chapter 2, to well, nothing later on. The city's evacuation ended within the day, and with more and more people dying as you go, the signs of life you encounter also lessens until you're the only one left.

3. Scarce weapon sources: definitely less guns to pick up, and the guns that we *can* pick up are somehow, some way, realistic in origin. Say, you don't have them lying on a random ass truck in the middle of nowhere, you have them in homes, next to a window on the top floor, or in military camps and evac points. And even less ammo boxes, simply because the city was being drained of people at an insane speed so people don't have time to build large safehouses with supplies and ammo. Gameplay wise it's harder to work through the maps since you have to count your shots a bit, but i like how everything makes sense to some degree.

Overall, i'd give 8/10. It's not meant to be played like a normal L4D2 map with all the boom n zooms, which is quite rare to see on the workshop recently. Definitely worth a try, no matter if you're a tryhard boi or a filthy casual like me.
