I think it can be an achievement item. When you dominate an enemy wielding the L.A.S.E.R. Pan, you'll get the achievement "Fry The Force" or something like that.

I think you're right. It's a stupid idea.

Could be used in rock paper scissors if you win against an enemy you do a custom kill animation using the Laser Pan a bit like when the solider uses the Escape Plan or the Equalizer suicide taunt when the Lumbricus Lid is equipted
