Sandbox options for efficiency, like pumping every ten minutes is good- but with 8 hour days, it means we have to set up some painful amounts of water collectors and stuff to simulate "running water"

The suggestion would be to allow for a higher amount. So like... Every ten minutes 60 water being pumped would be nicer at 100% efficiency.

Maybe an Effeciency multiplier? Idk how that would effect performance though.

Ok, so if I understand correctly 8 hour day means that water pumping is too rare (every 3m 20s in real life). Right?

Yeah, and honestly, I kind of take it back. I think it's fine. I was just an impatient little brat. Pls forgive <3

Ok :)

It appears that the capacity of sinks or bathtubs that link to the pump won't be enlarged? In vanilla the capacity will be enlarged when linked to a rain barrel (20 to 400 for sinks). Any chance for the pump to achieve that as well?

Vanilla plumbing shows you the capacity of the barrel above. I think there is no option that would allow me to change the max capacity of the object. Anyway i think that sinks should not be reservoirs of water. Invest in more pumps if you have deficiency of water.

Not in a scope of this mod probably, but hopefully this evolves into wiring to and from generators one day

I'm thinking about it but please give me a vision on how it would need to look like and work. How would that be better than simply using generators in places where you need power. It would need to be better somehow but how?

Could we get the ability to pump water from a collector to our appliances? Filtering water from the collector to the appliances is all I've wanted from a plumbing system in this game.

the vision I couldnt help you with, am not a techie. But imo full rework of generators in not necessary, just the ability to hook stuff that is further away. Example: Lighting up bridge with one generator would be nice.
Thanks for great mod.

a nice idea a thuat of was elecrisidy plus water as a trap like a puddle of water from a pipeline wich coud be turn on and of and them hook some wirers form a outlet and put them in the water or a toaster and turn zombies into very well done

Any shot of compatability with the Hydrocraft Water Pump world item? a way to overwrite the HC one or make this one a separate whatever-it-is.filething? (sorry, i truly don't know how the tech side of modding this game works)

Ability to bury pipes making them invisible except when in "destroy" mode or plumbing context menu
hey Feb 9, 2024 @ 11:56am
option to set pipe visibility only if the pipe wrench is equipped?

i would imagine it would work like a building has a local like "net" of wires and you could connect 1 or several generators to power the building instead of a radius, or maybe it would be possible to build a waterwheel and run wires to buildings to power them, and a thing that bugged me in vanilla is that the generators seem to have an infinate i guess wattage? idk i just dont think a singe generator can power 20 fridges. ( i am in no way an electrician and in so my termenology is probably extremely wrong )
