Loving the mod but I hit my first bug! The Empire mission where you have to track down the traitor in the Star Destroyer won't start.
I've never come across this myself, so I'll just ask a few questions if you don't mind. What happened exactly? Did the dialogue not pop up when it begins in the galactic view? Did the traitor's fleet not appear whatsoever? Or did he appear but you weren't able to battle against him?
Please be as specific as possible, This just helps me pin it down and maybe help before I dive into the game myself.
I'm sorry to say that this is a symptom of the expansion, not my mod. FOC totally butchered the XML for the reflection abilities of all saber heroes (except Obi-Wan and EAW Vader, for some reason), and as a result it means the Emperor can only absorb blaster fire from most infantry, not reflect it too. It does indeed make that mission more difficult. I recommend playing chicken with the Emperor, using abilities on large groups of enemies. NEVER attack them directly.
However if you want to fix this yourself instead of doing the above, you can make a copy of NamedHeroUnits.xml from your game's data, and edit the Reflection ability for the emperor to include INFANTRY in its applicable types. Then place your new copy in your downloaded version of my mod.
And the game requires its use to complete the mission.
Are you sure you're using the right Star Destroyers for the mission? 2 of them use Power to Weapons as its ability, and the biggest one uses a tractor beam. That could be your issue.
Other than that, its 100% not a bug from this mod, as I did not modify any units in the game whatsoever. Make sure you didn't modify the Star Destroyer (found in SpaceUnitsCapital.xml) on your end in your own files. My mod does not have this file, so its impossible for the ability to be absent from my end.
Have tried with and without ground troops, with and without Vader, one ship by itself, and reloads. Nothing works.
Is the planet Atzerri itself? It may still be locked up to a certain point.
If that isn't it, is the planet red? That signifies its mission-locked. Just need some more information to understand the issue.
This mod doesn't cover the FOC aspect of things. It only brings about a near perfect experience for the EAW campaigns and GCs, hence the title. FOC campaign stuff is a separate issue.
